What is the benefit of becoming a software reseller and sell software on Ebay?

I want to sell software on ebay, but the only legitimate way to do this is to be a licensed reseller.





What are the benefits of this?





Is there much of a profit margin if I go for products over $100 MSRP?





I can't find anywhere to read about this and how to get started.

If you are not an authorized reseller, you cannot resell software.


Period. Thats the benefit.





Ebay will cancel your auctions in a NY minute if you try.





Your next question is: Is there much profit margin? Shouldn't you know that FIRST before deciding to sell something on ebay?


Unless you are able to deal in volume (in which case you'll probably need a resale, not reseller, license), your margin especially when you add in the cost of ebay listing fees, final value fees, paypal fees, etc etc etc., is razor thin.
