typically people who study computer science with also study software engineering. software engineering is a way to describe the engineering discipline people follow to write software.

usually classes on analysis and design, architecture, and process are considered part of software engineering.

Reply:Computer engineering is more of building computers and working with cables, and hardware. Its bascially the hands on side of computers. Whereas computer science is things like programming, analysis and things of that sort.
Reply:Software engineers and development graduate become skilled in designing, developing, testing, managing and maintaining software systems. The field explores the systematic study of computing systems and computation. It is the body of knowledge that results from theories for understanding computing systems and methods, design methodology, algorithms, and tools.
